Cash Ban Scotland
The Scottish Government introduced a cash ban across the metal recycling industry in Scotland on September 01, 2016, under the Air Weapons Licensing (Scotland) Act 2015. As a result, we can no longer pay cash for scrap and will only pay for scrap metal by cheque or electronic transfer of funds.

- Additionally, as agents of Cheque Exchange Ltd, we can provide a cheque cashing service while you are on site. Our cheque cashing service enables you to leave our premises with cash.
ID Requirements – Please bring with you on your first visit
- Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
Proof of Address (This must be less than 3 months old)
- Gas / Electricity Bill
- Water Bill
- Council Tax Bill (Demand or Statement)
- Credit or Debit Card Statement
- TV Licence
